I absolutely love The Velvet Underground. I grew up listening to them, and could probably listen to them endlessly for the rest of my life. As we approach the one-year anniversary of Lou Reed’s death, I thought it only appropriate to honor him as the true lyrical genius and musician that he was. Some of his lyrics are so poetic and beautiful that they really tug at some heartstrings. I have fallen in love with his words, and I think we can all relate to them in some way or another.
