23 Tweets Expressing People’s Sorrow And Outrage Over The UCC Shooting — And A Plea For Change
By Johanna Mort
Today’s mass shooting is heartbreaking. It’s just as heartbreaking as the last shooting, and the one before that, and the one before that…and the one before that… and just as it’s heartbreaking, it’s embarrassing. Embarrassing that as a country we cannot seem to set aside our differences and work together towards meaningful and life-saving change. Yes, we should grieve. We should send love and support to those in pain. But something needs to change now before we’re sending love and support to more people who have lost their loved ones to the next shooting. Please.
