25 Things That Kick Ass About Being Female

A while back, a woman named America Adams published a post called 25 Things That Suck About Being Female. While it’s true that life might not always be perfect for us ladies, I think the article takes a cynical perspective on what it’s like to be a woman. Let’s take a break from being victims of what nature has intended for us and take a look at why we should raise a glass to being female.

1. It’s easier for us to get dates. Men usually do the chasing. When he likes someone, he will find a way to let her know, and she won’t have to do much to initiate a spark.

2. We push humans out of our body. It might not be a pleasant experience at all times, but it’s pretty amazing when you think about the miracle of giving life to another person.

3. The beauty of the female form. Boobs, butt, legs, curves: Universally appreciated.

4. Women get to wear fun clothes. We have a wide variety of styles to choose from that create different looks. Men don’t have nearly as many clothing options.

5. Women can get away with a lot. Men allow us to. It’s not like we are forcing them to let us off with just a warning for our speeding ticket. We aren’t holding a gun to their head to buy us drinks. It’s just the way it is.

6. We can get creative with our hair. We can wear it long, cut it short, dye it, braid it, straighten it, curl it, pony tail it, put accessories in it, etc. We can get crazy with that shit.

7. We don’t have to worry about going bald or erectile dysfunction. Men don’t always age like wine, and we have more options for hiding or reversing our aging signs.

8. Were not as sweaty and stinky as men, and they often still think we are sexy when we are at the gym.

9. Women live longer. 5-10 years longer in fact. Estrogen helps to protect women against heart disease, Alzheimer disease, and certain cancers.

10. Multiple orgasms. It’s possible for men to have them too, but women can get them more easily.

11. Women can be great leaders. It has been studied and shown that woman can succeed in leadership roles because of their excellent skills in listening, communication, mentoring, multitasking, and problem solving.

12. We can be powerful. Women are more powerful than they give themselves credit for. We just have to be savvy enough to know how to take it and use it well.

13. We can easily make an impression. People are amazed when we do things that aren’t stereotypically seen as usual for women to do: Lift heavy objects, properly use firearms, play with snakes, know how to defend ourselves in case of an attack, etc.

14. Women’s intuition. Women just know, and even if they didn’t, they’d still know. Men probably don’t get it, but women do, because they know.

15. Women mature faster. The female brain reaches reorganization and pruning stages in brain development earlier than males do.

16. Our insurance is cheaper. Why? Women are less likely to be involved in auto accidents, pulled over for speeding, or pulled over for a DUI.

22. We are better at seduction. No game, no PUA training necessary. We were born with the know how.

23. We make for more interesting psychopaths in movies. Misery, Fatal Attraction, Basic Instinct, Carrie, etc.

24. We usually don’t have to fight dirty. We can go to battle without lifting a finger. Women are masters at civilized war.
