5 Ways To Transform Your Dreams Into Reality
By Ronny Osorio
We all have dreams we want to accomplish in life. Some are easier to achieve than others, but what makes dreams so desirable? Is it picturing ourselves accomplishing it? Or is it the satisfaction of achieving it? Or is it proving the rest of the world that you did it when they said you couldn’t?
We live in a world that keeps saying that dreams are just that, dreams, fantasies that will never come true. If your dream is to obtain superpowers and be able to change into a dragon, then that’s an impossible dream. But if your dream is to attend the FIFA World Cup Russia 2018 or marry a Polish woman (man for the ladies), then that’s a possible dream.
Here are some guidelines for those who are dreamers (including me) and want to accomplish their dreams. Enjoy!
1. Dream Big.
“It’s kind of fun to do the impossible.” – Walt Disney
Some people think that if you make small goals in your life, then they’ll come true. That’s fine, but I suggest you to dream big. Think about the thing you’d like to do the most, or that you’d like to happen in your life and do it. At first it might seem really difficult, even impossible, but if you put all your effort in accomplishing it, then it will eventually come true.
2. Being A Dreamer Isn’t Bad.
“If you can dream it, you can do it.” – Walt Disney
Okay, so people probably tells you that “you live in a fantasy world where everything is possible, but you have to come back to the real world”. Reality is part of all lives we want it or not, but that doesn’t mean we have to stop dreaming. Dreamers are happy people who are up to big challenges, so never stop dreaming. Dream, dream and keep dreaming. Your dreams can be visiting a foreign country, or meeting the love of your life in a particular situation or I don’t know. Each and every person has their own dreams so don’t be afraid to dream and make your dreams come true.
3. Believe That Your Dreams Will Eventually Come True And Never Let Someone Tell You Otherwise.
“All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.” – Walt Disney
This is very important. You have to believe that your dream will come true. Dreams often come true when we least expect it, so be patient. Like Walt Disney said: “When you believe in a thing, believe in it all the way, implicitly and unquestionable.”
Never let someone tell you the opposite. If they do, then just feel sorry for them, because they lost the hope of accomplishing their own dreams.
4. Share Your Dreams With Your Closest Friends And Family
Share your dreams with them. You’ll be surprised how they can help you achieve your dreams. Only tell them if you trust them and if you think they’ll understand your dreams and don’t tell your dreams to people who will criticize you or that will not cheer you up or help you to follow them.
5. Once Your Dreams Come True, Keep Dreaming.
When you achieve one of your dreams, start over and try to achieve another one. Life is short, so keep making your dreams come true.
