Coda
By S.E. Sever
Oceans are washing the shores of my heart
With one breeze, they have my soul in their palms
They gallantly unleash their waves on me
Painting my world into the colour of their liquid sky
Rains are leaking into my mind
Soaking every emotion
Stirring my thoughts
Washing away my sanity like a tsunami
Trees are calling my soul
They want me undressed from my body
Their leaves rustle up behind me
Stripping me from who I remember to be
Mountains are gathering my leftovers
They wrap me with their flora like a blanket
Skewer me with their sharpest peak
Prepare for my cremation in the sun’s ashy heat
Save me…
Hide me in your breeze
Stir back the tsunamis
Dress me with my sanity
Cremate the sun in my heat
