11 Sad, Yet Funny Things That Happen When You’re Extremely Gullible
1. Sarcasm is a foreign language to you.
You never know if and when someone is being sarcastic, and even when you think they are you’re probably wrong.
2. You believe everything you read.
No it’s true I swear! I read it somewhere…in some article…from some magazine. Yeah!
3. You give in way too easily to salespeople.
The lady at the mall told me this skin cream erases ANY imperfections, so I had to buy it. Then your friend asks how much it was, and you realize when your wallet’s empty that you fell way too easily into her sales trap.
4. You fall for scams.
You know those random emails you get asking you to re-confirm your email account or password? You only realize they are hackers/ scams until after you’ve clicked through their BS and probably reset your password. Uh oh.
5. You are so not street smart.
You’ve been sold counterfeit tickets to a game or concert that you over paid for in cash. You’ve bought fake designer merchandise for way too much money because you were convinced it was real. Fendi isn’t spelled with an H, just for future references. You’ve basically done anything and everything a street savvy person would know not to do.
6. The internet is a danger zone.
Because you’ll believe anything it tells you. Remember when the world was going to end on 12/12/12? Well, we’re all still alive and so is whatever internet site you got that from.
7. You fall for corny jokes.
“You have some mustard on your shirt.” You look down. “Gotcha!” Sweet.
8. Your friends and family take advantage of how gullible you are.
If they are close to you, you believe anything they say, and they are completely aware of this. They use it against you in many situations.
9. April Fool’s Day is your least favorite day.
You dread April 1st every year because you’re the easiest person to prank. You can’t even count how many times you’ve fallen for your friend’s “I’m pregnant” text or your Mom’s “Me and Dad are getting divorced” email. What a cruel and evil holiday.
10. You learn to laugh at yourself.
When you believe everything, it’s embarrassing at first, but even you eventually find your extreme gullible behavior somewhat laughable.
11. You tell yourself next time you won’t be so gullible.
And 10 seconds later you fall for something else.
