Read These Damning Emails That Donald Trump Jr. Just Tweeted
Turns out that impulsive Twitter use runs in the Trump family. Today, Donald Trump Jr. joined in on the fun.
A bit of background first: this week, the New York Times broke a bombshell of a story. Despite repeated claims by his father that the possibility of collusion with Russia is “fake news”, it is now clear that Donald Trump Jr. met with Russians specifically because they told him they had incriminating information on Hillary Clinton.
Yes. You read that correctly. The President’s son, along with campaign official Paul Manafort and son-in-law/advisor Jared Kushner, met with a “Kremlin-connected Russian lawyer” to get incriminating information on Hillary Clinton. In an e-mail, Trump Jr. was informed that the material “was part of a Russian government effort to aid his father’s candidacy”, according to the New York Times.
So you’re all caught up. Almost. Today, the New York Times informed Trump Jr. that they were in possession of the e-mails and asked for a comment, which is standard journalistic procedure.
Instead of a comment, Trump Jr. took to Twitter and dumped the e-mails himself.

Of course, Twitter nearly exploded. Here are some reactions to the e-mail dump.

This email to Don Jr. could hardly be more incriminating. "part of Russia and its government’s support for Mr. Trump.” from crown prosecutor
