The World Was Made For You, And You Were Made For The World

You have purpose.

You came here to this world for a reason. And one day, it will all make sense. Though you may not feel it right now, you matter. You matter to a lot of people. Your participation in this world matters. Your existence matters. Your thoughts matter. Your feelings matter. Your body matters. Your ambition, your dreams, your past and your future, they all matter.

Every single day you wake up, you make the world a better place just by being you.

Sometimes, tough moments in life trick you into thinking that your story is insignificant. Sometimes rejection makes you feel like there is something wrong with you. Sometimes being abandoned by those you love most convinces you that you are not good enough. Sometimes you think that you deserve the pain you are feeling. Sometimes you believe that you’ll never get a chance of real happiness. Sometimes you give in to your dark thoughts.

And sometimes, you think that the world is out to get you because you are different. Sometimes you feel that you don’t belong, that there isn’t a place for you. Sometimes you feel alone, misunderstood, judged and unloved. Sometimes you feel that you are unimportant, replaceable, invisible. Sometimes you feel everything and nothing at the same time.

I am here to play you the symphony you don’t hear over the radio. I am here to give you the tough love you need right now. I am here to tell you the words you desperately need to hear. I am here to stand by you, hold your hand, be your friend. I am here to push you to forgive yourself. I am here to advise you to silence the voice in your head and listen to mine instead. I am here to tell you that it’s not easy. I am here to tell you that it does not get better in time if you don’t work hard for it.

You are not temporary. You are here to stay. You are not a visitor. This is your home.

You are here to leave your mark, you are here to make an impact, and you are here to give birth to a legacy, your legacy! You belong to the world just as much as it belongs to you. Your place in this world is reserved for you. It will not be lessened, it will not be replaced, and it will not be forgotten.

Maybe, no one has told you that you are extraordinary. Maybe no one at work has shown you the appreciation you deserve. Maybe no one in your family has taken care of you the way you take care of everyone. Maybe no one of your friends has been there for you when you needed them. Maybe no lover has confessed to you how magical you are.

Maybe you don’t feel it, but the world was made for you.

The world was made for you to discover, and to connect. The world was made for you to live the best life you can. And you were made for the world because it needs you.
