When we were writing it, it was really weird. The guy we wrote it with, Jake Sinclair—he came up with the idea of that hook in the chorus. It just kind of happened. We weren’t expecting anything. We were just writing songs, it turned out to be what it was. We rolled with it. It just came out to be a really cool song in the end.
