You Shouldn’t Fear Commitment
We neglect that we are one, an entity.
We neglect that we are one, an entity.
You do the sleepovers. You meet the families, the best friends. You get invited to the weddings, the Christmas dinners, road trips to the Cape to visit the siblings. You’ve been in their house. You know the way they take their coffee, all their favorite films, the times they’ve eaten in a day, and how they articulate their words.
And now I’m sitting in your living room, thinking about the first time I walked through this door –and what it would be like to do all over again –same place, same people, same circumstances. I would still choose you.
The hardest part of turning away is not knowing.
