You may have met during travel or you’ve now been separated by time and jobs far away, but despite the distance, “goodbye” was never an option. Thanks to technology, it is easy for us to stay connected with people we may never physically see again for years. But there are the struggles that come along with your multiple long-distance relationships as well.
Naked time is all the time. Your shower robe hangs lonely on the shower rack on the backside of your bathroom door. After enjoying your first, I-can-belt-Aretha-as-loud-as-I-want shower moment, you realized that your robe was no longer needed in your new palace.
Just over four years ago, I left my job at Walt Disney World so that I could pursue other dreams. Since then there hasn’t been a day that I haven’t missed being part of the magic, but there also hasn’t been a day when I haven’t noticed how the job changed me and my expectations for reality forever.
Forget the car, forget the shower, you are in the middle of aisle five belting out “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” as it plays overhead and that is perfectly okay.
This place seriously rules.
While the idea of having the simple little black dress, the mix and match t-shirts and the perfect clutch purse sounds great, when I look into my closet, I find a fair share of unique and somewhat odd items.
