We start to realize that we are only as grateful as we were once without. We are only as accepting as we were once exclusive. We are only as happy as we were once suffering. The change that happens is a change in perception.
There is no art that is greater or lesser than another. There can be art that affects us personally to greater or lesser degrees, but that’s all.
In theory, all of this is a spiritual experience. Though we define each one as an isolated incident, tuning into the spiritual experience of it all is becoming aware of it, for that moment.
Someday you will realize that the worst happened and the best followed, and that turmoil doesn’t serve you for the sheer fact that things will work out on their own terms, regardless of how much we suffer from our own thoughts about them.
