He just made everything sound so beautiful. In fact, he was such an amazing wordsmith he always had a way of making me not like the things I liked anymore. He was that good.

I’ve come to realize that most of the things I want to wish away are pieces of me that have been shaped because of my parents.

All I know is that my adrenaline-junkie days can take a back seat to all the days ahead of him and me.

My advice to you is to just be careful of your heart.

I am ashamed and embarrassed to even admit that I still think about how much more money I could’ve been given had I broken a leg or something more serious, but this is the reality that we as students live in.

My life would begin to look like I was in the movie Groundhog Day, where every morning the same thing started all over again. But it wouldn’t be as overplayed and frustrating as it seemed. It would be romantic.

But sometimes life just gets in the way.
