I keep to myself because life is easier that way. There are less risks. There is a smaller chance I will get my heart torn from its ribcage.

I want a forever love. I want to commit myself to someone who would never dream of leaving me. Someone who means it when they say they are going to stay.

You have to show me that you mean it when you say you are sorry. You can’t go right back to doing the same thing you got busted for doing before. You have to make an active change to your behavior.

You hold yourself back from responding right away because you don’t want to look overly eager, but temptation gets the best of you and fifteen minutes later you are typing out a response.

I am trusting you to stay. I am trusting you not to abandon me when things get hard.

Date someone who admires quality above quantity. Someone who would rather have three real friends than a thousand friends who never talk about anything deeper than the weather. 

She is going to get sick of being your backup plan. She is going to find someone who answers her texts quickly and follows through on plans instead of making hypothetical ones.
