It all tends to come together, doesn’t it?
It all tends to come together, doesn’t it?
And it’s the truth: all these people do have pieces of their lives that are together, but I can assure you that there are other pieces that maybe aren’t quite fitting.
When I was a senior in high school my teacher had us write a letter to our future selves. I was 18 at the time.
You could marry the love of your life after two months together, or you could stay with someone for nine years before calling it quits. You could fall in love with someone who is opposite from you in a million different ways, but who completes you all the same.
I’m talking about learning to accept that maybe we won’t ever be 100% happy with the way we look. This isn’t a bad thing, it’s just the truth. Just like anything in life, there will always be things we want to change — in our homes, at our jobs, and yes, on our bodies.
