When you two first starting dating, I’ll admit it was difficult for me. It was difficult for me not because you had him, but because with each new girlfriend, I felt a fear of losing the person who’s had my back for the last 10 years.
It doesn’t mean I set my standards too high or that I just want to go sleep around. It doesn’t mean I’m avoiding love or that I’m looking for it. Most important, it does not mean, “I don’t deserve to be happy.”
Is it weird that I don’t want to be responsible for anyone or anything other than myself?

We get so caught up in the hustle and bustle of our day-to-day lives we forget to appreciate the beautiful lessons life is teaching us on a daily basis.
It’s funny how much an animal can teach us about love.
We are accusing friends of different races about not understanding what it’s like. We are putting up divides and creating our own segregation out of a disagreement in opinion.
Class of 2020, no matter where you are, stay focused and enjoy every moment. This isn’t just a phase. It’s your future, your dreams and your life.
It’s not ok to hide behind closed doors. It’s not ok to be ashamed of the hot flashes those shots give you. It’s not ok to pretend like it’s ok when the people around you are just showing their concern. And it’s not ok that you have deal with this by yourself…and it’s a good thing you’re not.
A relationship is all about give and take but in the end—you both deserve to have the opportunity to pursue your dreams. You should be encouraging each other, not resenting each other for feeling held back.
