You get so hung up on the fact that you had something back then that you don’t have now, that you completely forget all of the good things you have that you didn’t back then.
Your job as a woman is not to hold your man down, keep him in line, or constantly be paranoid that he is doing something he shouldn’t.
The day will come. You will feel whole again. They will not be your first thought when you wake up, and they will not be your last before you go to sleep.
All of this love and attention you are pouring into someone who doesn’t even benefit from it, could be used on the people who truly love you.
Sometimes people need space, don’t take it personally.
You know what I think is impressive? Someone who doesn’t care to impress anyone. Someone who has values and morals and chooses to stick to them. Someone who is strongly opinionated and stands their ground.
It’s being fearless and optimistic. You have to become vulnerable, and you have to be okay with it.
