It’s living in fear that you will not have a safe place to calm yourself down. It’s getting swarmed by tears that you can’t stop. It’s fear that runs through your head all day and all night, even when you know it has no real base.

Not everybody is going to understand your struggle. Mental illness, like many other issues in our society, has a lot of stigma attached to it. People are going to tell you things like ‘it’s all in your head.’
My therapist thinks I’m too hard on myself. The stigma that is drilled into my brain to make me believe that I’m weak for getting help.
