Barack And Michelle Obama Just Signed A Multi-Year Agreement To Produce Content For Netflix
Earlier this month, Netflix announced that they’d be putting much more money and effort into original content. Considering the company plans to put 85% of their spending toward the production of new TV shows and movies, it’s no surprise that the streaming site is focusing on grabbing some big names, like Guillermo del Toro, Ryan Murphy, and Chris Pine.
But Netflix’s new talent acquisition may surprise people: the site managed to snag a deal with the former first family, Barack and Michelle Obama.
President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama have entered into a multi-year agreement to produce films and series for Netflix, potentially including scripted series, unscripted series, docu-series, documentaries, and features.

The multi-year agreement opens up the potential for scripted or unscripted series, including documentaries or features. According to Netflix chief content officer Ted Sarandos, the Obamas “are uniquely positioned to discover and highlight stories of people who make a difference in their communities and strive to change the world for the better.”
Fans already have plenty of ideas for the Obamas first project, and we would definitely binge watch all of them.
Show where Obama and Biden solve mysteries please.

I never would have imagined the past POTUS and FLOTUS entering the entertainment industry, but I am beyond intrigued to see where this goes. Don’t let me down, Netflix!
