Becca Kufrin Applied For ‘The Bachelor’ Twice Before She Got On The Show

You probably know Becca Kufrin as this upcoming season’s Bachelorette, but what you probably didn’t know was that she almost wasn’t on The Bachelor at all. In fact, Kufrin applied to the show twice before she got on the show — but honestly, that was kind of her fault.

On Vanderpump Rules star Stassi Schroeder’s podcast, Straight Up with Stassi, Kufrin explained her long history with The Bachelor franchise:

“It actually started years ago. Two of my coworkers had applied for me and I got this random call one day from this guy named Scott in casting and I thought it was a joke at first. And I went to work and my two coworkers, I could hear them giggling next to me. They were like, ‘Oh, haha, that was us.’ ”

So, why didn’t she go through with the audition? Apparently she actually did plan to, but then she ran into an ex-boyfriend at a bar and ended up getting back together with him. But when they broke up in 2016, Kufrin’s best friend convinced her to apply for the show again, so she agreed — and this time, she was ready to go through with it.
