There has been a great deal of national discussion about relations between the police and people of color in the recent days and months. After the deaths last week of Alton Sterling, Philando Castile, and five Dallas police officers, our nation feels more divided than ever. Some people believe that the police of our country are not getting the respect they deserve, while other people believe that our nation must be tougher on bad cops with racist tendencies.
