Could The Kid From Grand Budapest Hotel Be The Next Big Superhero?

What if all the weird drawings you did in high school came to life? Would they create a world of ‘Back to the Future’ awesome, or would it be ‘Butterfly Effect’ levels of tragic? DC Pierson — author of two great novels, Derrick Comedy and Mystery Team alumnus, funny person, and, in general, a righteous dude — wants to make a movie that explores those themes. It’d be a film version of his novel, The Boy Who Couldn’t Sleep and Never Had To. The above short is a prequel (with Grand Budapest Hotel’s Tony Revolori and The Hunger Games’ Jack Quaid) of what could be, if DC and director Dan Eckman (of TV cult favorite Community royalty) get the financing they need for the feature film version. If you want more, let ’em know by sharing the hell out of this and hitting the creators up at @whocouldntsleep. Never forget: in 2015, you have the superpower of supporting dope shit and making good things happen.
