It’s been a few months since Tristan Thompson’s cheating scandal, but one thing’s for sure: no one’s about to let him forget it. He and Khloe Kardashian may feel like they’re in a better place, but the ghost of their past will always loom over them like a shadow.
Need proof? Kardashian posted this gorgeous photo of a pink beach today with the caption, “Take me please,” and when Thompson responded, people didn’t take it too well.

“Where do you wanna go my love?” Thompson wrote, and while that may have sounded swoon-worthy and romantic coming out of anyone else’s mouth, it basically became the punchline of a joke coming from the NBA star. Fans immediately responded with some shady (and hilarious!) jabs:
“The land of the faithful and the loyal Tristan, that’s where she wanna go.”
“Back in time.”
“To the divorce attorney.”
And so, so much more.
Sorry Tristan, you had to see that one coming.
While I’m sure Khloe and Tristan aren’t too happy with the responses (Kardashian in particular has shown frustration with how fans treat her relationship over social media), they probably just have to get used to the fact that this is their reality now: getting dragged constantly by people who realize Khloe Kardashian deserves better, who aren’t afraid to make a joke out of it when given the perfect opportunity.
