Florida Woman Spends $60.58 At Starbucks, Breaks Record For Most Expensive Drink Ever

Sameera Raziuddin, a 23-year-old Muslim woman based in Florida has proudly broken the record for ordering the most expensive Starbucks drink ever made, spending a total of $60.58.

The drink in question was a Vente Caramel Crunch Frappuccino that held 60 shots of espresso along with white mocha, hazelnut, Tazo chai, soy, cream, mocha drizzle, matcha powder, vanilla bean, vanilla drizzle, and hazelnut drizzle.

Raziuddin brought her own container and has yet to finish the drink because let’s be real – there’s no way in hell someone could consume that whole thing and live to tell about it considering it contained 4,630 mg of caffeine.

“I am still working on the drink and have been sharing it with my friends,’ she told The Daily Mail. “As a med student, I know better than to try to consume 60 shots of espresso in one sitting.”

Raziuddin let the store employees know she would be ordering the drink before arrival, choosing to place the order at the time of store closing so other customers wouldn’t have to wait in line for her monstrous drink to be made.

Despite giving Starbucks a decent chunk of cash they weren’t too thrilled about the whole thing and issued a statement:

With over 170,000 ways to customize beverages at Starbucks, we know that personalization is a big part of the Starbucks Experience for both our customers and our partners (employees), however this particular customization was excessive and something that we do not encourage. We want to ensure our customers receive the highest quality and most delicious tasting food or beverage products from us and, we don’t believe that this particular beverage choice was reflective of that.
