Happiness
–
“The happiness of being with other people,” Kafka writes, which sticks in my mind, that he said that. Also what sticks in my mind is another quote from the same book, which was a book of quotes, a collection of different quotes. The quote was not by Kafka; it was by a Japanese poet. O, little snail! he said.
O, little snail!
Climb Mt. Fuji.
But slowly, slowly!
Somehow the two things must be related. Mustn’t they? I think they must. The thing is in the figuring out of the how and the why, someday I will figure out the how and the why.
