Here’s How You Fuck The Haters And Become Your Best Self
By Alexis Shore
I don’t care how amazing of a person you are; NO ONE gets through life unscathed by the wrath of at least one hater. Sometimes a person won’t like you because you truly wronged them, and you understand why this enemy was created. Other times, hatred arises for absolutely no reason whatsoever. Regardless, strangely enough, knowing that there are people in this world that would do anything to see me fail promotes a feeling of motivation unlike any other.
I would first like to talk about the most rational type of hater, the one who despises you because of something terrible you did to them. Although it would be far more mature to let it go and not focus so much on disliking someone, indeed, they do have a right to hate you. Despite all the nasty names they may call you, in my opinion, this type of hater motivates me to be a better person. They inspire me to take responsibility for my past with confidence and move into the future without allowing anyone to feel that hatred for me again.
The second type of hater is the argumentative, entitled hater. Maybe you have voiced your opinion about an issue and someone else completely disagrees with it, which is perfectly fine because the keyword here is OPINION (something that is meant to have more than one side). Instead of accepting your different viewpoints, this hater will attack not only your argument but also your morale. They will tell you that you are stupid, misinformed, and have no right to have a voice. These types of people motivate me to become more educated, so much so that my “misinformed” voice can debate them until they have nothing left to say.
Finally, the jealous hater AKA the people who hate you for no logical reason is the type I enjoy most. Because they literally hate you because they think you’re better than them. They will do anything to watch you cry like a baby because they don’t think you do enough of it. It is so flattering that my happiness can bother someone so much that they want to put in an absurd amount of effort to try to bring me down.
Unfortunately, I have some experience with this; but with this comes some kickass advice. If someone hates you, the best thing for you to do is ignore it. Haters crave your attention. They want to get anger, tears or any negative feelings out of you. But if you get a really mean message and ignore it…boy are you going to piss them off.
At the end of the day, the only person’s approval you really need is your own. If you love yourself and enjoy your way of life, don’t let anyone try to bring you down. Own it. Confidence is key and the best revenge on ANY type of hater is success.
