Here’s What ‘Real’ Men Would Look Like If They Posed As Underwear Models

We’ve spent the past 30 or so years shedding light on the way women are portrayed in the media, finally starting to take note of overpowering images of objectification, submissive, degrading positioning, unrealistic and Photoshopped ideas of “normal.”

We haven’t neglected to acknowledge that everybody is portrayed unrealistically, but you still don’t see campaigns for men as you do for women (Dove, Aerie, etc.)

So what would ads featuring “normal men” look like?

Last year, The Sun asked anonymous male readers to recreate poses from male models in underwear ads, comparing them to the presumably retouched originals. The images made the rounds recently on Reddit.
