It feels different today
Lighter
Happier
There is a weight missing
That was here yesterday
Things change
People come and people go
Situations fluidly becoming something else
Adapting, altering
Pushing us forward or backwards
A choice bred of our response
I feel it in the air
Hear it in the birds chirping
See it in the way sun shines across the grass
Things are changing again
And this time it’s for the better.
