If You Find Love, Accept It

We always have this idea that there is a love truly meant for us. That’s why we would set our expectations according to the kind of love we want, the love we think we deserve.

Some of us may find it, I call them the lucky ones. However, some of us don’t, but they never settle for less. Some are just trapped by the many little questions of love. They might think, “hey, that’s unfair, why could others find their ideal love but I couldn’t, no matter how hard I try?”.

Honestly, I do not have an answer for that. Maybe it’s the workings of fate, or destiny, or some force outside of our control. But I can tell you this: it doesn’t matter.

What matters is to choose love, always. Whether you’re disheartened by all the wrong things happening to you right now or you’re crushed by the anxiety of your future, you will need to choose love and remember that you’re gonna be okay.

Let go of every worry about love. Fill your heart with faith that everything isn’t all about finding the love you want or deserve. Life is about finding love and accepting it.

You’re gonna find love. It may not be the love you expected, but I’m sure as hell it would be the love that would make you smile the brightest. And it would definitely make your life a little more bearable, a little fuller.

So drop that baggage of doubt in your head, honey. It won’t get you anywhere.

Just carry on and love.
