In 2018, I Hope You Follow What Your Heart Desires

I know it took you a long time to think about whether to pursue your dream or not.

It must have been impossible inside your head that it took you this long to realize how many opportunities you have missed.

You contemplated so much, burdened yourself with negative thoughts that it stopped you from following what your heart truly desires for all this time.

I know how much you have tried to convince yourself that you are not good enough and you will never be half as good as those people you look up to just so you have the excuse to procrastinate.

But you are.

If they could do it, so can you.

They also started as nobody but the difference is they gave their best.

They pushed hard and went out of their comfort zones. They have been rejected too, again and again and that didn’t stop them from moving forward.

They believed in themselves when people were too blind to see their talent.

They prayed and they failed. They kept trying and now they are where they are supposed to be.

So this coming 2018, I hope you already have the courage to prove not only to other people but also to your inner demons that you deserve to follow your dreams.

You deserve to keep on trying.

You deserve to prove them wrong.

You deserve to be up there next to the people you look up to.

And I hope that no matter how hard they try to pull you down with them, it will not shake you.

They can only rattle your cage so hard that they set you free, but not hard enough to make you go back to where you used to be.

“Believe that you can and you are halfway there.”

Yes, you are halfway there and if you keep on listening to what people have to say instead of what your heart has been telling you for a long time then you will always be far behind.

Do not let them have the power to bring you down.

Keep pushing.

If you have to wait, then please do so because time is nothing if that’s what you have always wanted. It is always worth the wait.

Follow your dreams but never step on anyone just to be there. There is no shortcut, it will be long and hard but make it worth your time.

Enjoy your journey as you follow the road to your heart’s desire. Make it worth your while.

What others will say is irrelevant and if ever someone’s standing in your way wait for them to excuse themselves. The least you need is their bad energy affecting yours.

If you know it in your heart that this is what you want and this is what you deserve and you believe it?

Then nothing can stop you from getting there.

There is nothing more powerful than a person who knows exactly what they want and not afraid to face the challenges that comes with it.
