Thoughts and Feelings
The thing about thoughts and feelings
Is that they can make you feel more alive,
But can also kill you inside.

Stolen
I just hate it whenever
Someone steals sentimental
Or valuable things from me.
Just like the time when
You stole my heart
And ripped it into pieces
Just because you can.

Butterflies
I’m trying so hard to forget about you
And move on, but every time
You say my name and talk to me,
All of the butterflies suddenly come back.

Moving On
Maybe we will really never get over some people.
The new happenings in our lives
Just make them fade into the background,
So it makes us think
That we’ve already moved on.

Heartbreak
You’re the person
I’d like to spend the rest of my life with,
But also the person I need to run away from
To recover from this heartbreak.
