Remember on Parts Unknown when President Obama and Anthony Bourdain enjoyed a dining experience together in Hanoi? After feeling so honored by their visit, that restaurant had the table and stools framed a while back. This actually made me tear up. pic.twitter.com/Lkyb7UvajO

Many lamented the fact that Parts Unknown was scheduled to leave Netflix on June 16, but at least there’s still some good news in the world: the streaming site extended its agreement with the show’s distributor, allowing them to keep it for several more months, at least.

“Some fans have noticed that Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown was scheduled to come off Netflix US on June 16,” the Netflix’s official US account tweeted. “As of today, we’ve extended our agreement that will keep Parts Unknown on the service for months to come.”
This announcement doesn’t particularly come as a surprise, considering the incredibly emotional, strong response to Bourdain’s death, as well as fans petitioning for Netflix to continue streaming the show. All in all, it was a win-win for everyone.
