Ohio Woman Called 9-1-1 Because She Didn’t Like Her Chinese Food
By Jacob Geers
44-year-old Tracey McCloud is under arrest after she called 9-1-1 to complain about some bad Chinese food.
Cloud went to “Main Moon” Chinese Restaurant in Alliance, Ohio where she put the meal’s cost on her credit card. After tasting some of the food, she said she didn’t like it, and asked for her money back. Main Moon offered to refund the meal back to her credit card account, but she wanted cold hard cash. Main Moon couldn’t give her that, so she decided to inform local law enforcement.
The local dispatcher was dumbfounded when McCloud explained her reasoning for the call, asking, “This is why you called…?”
Dispatcher: Alliance Police and Fire, where is your emergency?
McCloud: At Main Moon in College Plaza.
Dispatcher: What’s the problem?
McCloud: I had bought some Chinese food and it’s not to par to me and I asked to get my money back and they acting like they don’t understand me. And they took my food and won’t give my money back.
Dispatcher: “And this is why you called 9-1-1?”

Local police have sent out a social media reminder that 9-1-1 is for emergencies only, not for customer service problems at local Chinese restaurants.
McCloud will be appearing in court later this week.
