People You Shouldn’t Fall In Love With

By

Do not fall for people who can make you be impossibly in love with them. You would crave for them every moment even when they are with you, your arms brushing against each other or holding you so tight that your breasts are crushed against their chest and it’s difficult for both of you to breathe. And you still are not satiated and you don’t what will make you. You want to be even closer, you want to have them in all your pores, you wish if they were an ocean or quicksand  and you could drown yourself in them, you want him to fill you, all the time. You want to talk to them all the time and then you don’t. You think about them all the time and the urge to grasp a fistful of their shirt and fit your nose in the cleft between his neck and shoulder and spend the whole life there takes you over.
You want to run your hands along their bodies, your palms across their backs, along the light dusting of hair across the chest, the juncture of the collarbones. How you trace the lines on their faces, the ones beneath their eyes, beside their lips, when they laughed, when they didn’t. How you want to fill your eyes with their images, the minutest of details, the moles beside their lips and the curve of their eyelashes, the look on their faces when they sleep without any worries on the floor of general compartments with their heads on your lap, the way just before waking up they roll to your side and put their arms across your stomach and you have their breath in your ear, the last bit of strength with which they will hold your hand on a trek, the last sip of water that they would leave for you. The last bit of peace that they will breathe into your mouth during a soul-claiming kiss under the stars like sugar melting in hot milk, the last bit of fuck that they would refuse to give to people complaining about your lack of public decency.

Do not fall in love with these people. Fall in love with assholes. It’s easier to keep them off your mind.
