Tech Blogger Attempts To Cancel Comcast, Ends Up With Customer Service Rep From Hell
By Koty Neelis
We all hate dealing with customer service reps but this one has to be the worst of the worst.
Ryan Block, former boss dude at Engadget, now a product manager at AOL, called up Comcast to cancel his service. But, like many of us have experienced before, it wasn’t that easy. Block ends up getting what may be the absolute worst customer service rep of all time, recording the last 8 minutes of the nearly 20 minute phone call, and putting it online for us all to laugh in the sheer misery of this conversation.
All Block wants is to cancel his service but the rep continues to repeat in various ways, “Being that we are the No. 1 provider of Internet and TV service in the entire country, why is it that you aren’t wanting to have the No. 1 Internet service, No. 1 TV service available?”
Basically, this is the conversation of nightmares, and it reminds us how truly insane Comcast is.
You can listen to the ridiculous back and forth between the two here.
