The Mother Of The Westminster Killer Just Spoke About Her Son’s Attack For The First Time
By Jacob Geers
Khalid Masood is the attacker who is responsible for the murder of four individuals, and the injury of another 50, from when he attacked the British Parliament last week.
His mother, Janet Ajao, has just spoken out about her son’s crimes for the first time. Ajao, 69, is currently being protected by police after having her property searched.
I do not condone his actions nor support the beliefs he held that led to him committing this atrocity.
I am so deeply shocked, saddened and numbed by the actions my son has taken that have killed and injured innocent people in Westminster.
Since discovering that it was my son that was responsible I have shed many tears for the people caught up in this horrendous incident.
I wish to make it absolutely clear, so there can be no doubt, I do not condone his actions nor support the beliefs he held that led to him committing this atrocity.
I wish to thank my friends, family and community from the bottom of my heart for the love and support given to us.
Ajao reveals that she has “shed many tears” over the senseless, brutal killings. She lives in the small village of Trelech, Carmarthenshire.
Other villagers know her as a “respectable lady” who is said to be devoted to her small business where she sells handmade cushions and bags. One neighbor told the following to the DailyMail:
She must be going through hell after finding out her son was responsible for such devastation and heartache. I think she disowned her son 20 years ago because of his criminal lifestyle.
I have known the Ajaos ever since they came here and they are nice people, law-abiding and very ordinary. It must be terrible for them to have to live with this for the rest of their lives.
Ajao raised Masood as a single mother, but lost touch after he was jailed twice in the early 2000s.
She has been ruled out as an accomplice in the Westminster attacks.
