This Couple Recreated A Photo From A Pride March 24 Years Ago And It’s The Cutest Thing Ever
June is Pride Month, and what better way to celebrate than with a heartwarming story about a couple who have been together for 25 years? Nothing, I tell you. Absolutely nothing.
Nick Cardello and Kurt English have been together for 25 years and have spent most of their relationship fighting for equal rights, something that they still do today.

But the couple basically broke the Internet after they recreated a picture of them together at a Pride march.

This was them at a LGBTQ march in 1993:
And this was them recently at the DC Equality March.
Naturally, Twitter lost it at the display of utter perfection.

This is such a wonderful tweet, one of the best ever.

This is so necessary. For young gays to see old gays happy, in love, and proud. Thank you for giving me a bit of hope for the future

The couple have been fighting for their rights long enough that they’ve been able to see their progress, one step at a time.

And let’s be honest — the relationship isn’t the only amazing thing about these photos.

Let's be honest: the amazing thing about this photo isn't the relationship. It's that he kept the same sunglasses w/o losing them for 25 yrs

Thanks, Nick and Kurt, for giving us all hope and reminding the world that love is love is love.
