This Is The Love You Actually Deserve (Because It’s More Than The Love You Think You Want)

By

You know when you’re in a car and it’s pouring outside, you go under a bridge and everything stops. Everything goes silent and it’s definitely peaceful. But you don’t deserve to be with a person who’s that bridge, because when you come out of it, everything hits you a little harder. Rather, you deserve to be with someone who gives you the courage to confront your problems in their face and deal with them.

You deserve to be with someone who doesn’t treat you like another girl he’s in love with, but rather as a woman he respects.

Someone, who brings out the best in you. By that I don’t mean the best singer in you or the best lawyer in you, or the best artist in you — but simply the best version of the person you can be. He won’t compel you to achieve more than something else, rather just want you to be a better person than you were yesterday. Someone who opens your heart a little more.

You don’t deserve to be with someone who simply makes you believe in the concept of “forever,” but rather someone who doesn’t simply promise you tomorrow, but makes you realize that life is uncertain and makes you taste every breath today.

Someone who doesn’t just make you laugh at the weirdest of things on a gloomy day, rather someone who will make your insides smile and come back to life;

Someone who will lend all his colors to you when you feel grey or blue.

You don’t deserve to be with someone who makes you just happy all day every day. Be with someone who makes you brave enough to feel — the good and the bad. Someone who doesn’t tell you a better way to live life, rather just reminds you that you’re living and that’s enough, that as long as you have the ability to feel something, it’s all good.

Someone who doesn’t stop you from crying, but lends you a shoulder when you are and understands all the reasons behind it.

Don’t be with someone who answers all your problems, because you deserve to be with someone who makes you believe that you are the answer.

Someone who makes you sparkle and shine even on the days you think you’ve burnt out. Someone who gives you the strength to restructure life, adapt and evolve. Someone who makes the person in you grow.

Someone who teaches you how incredible your existence is, by simply being a part of it.

That’s the person you deserve to be with for the rest of your life.
