This Just Might Be The Weirdest Building In New York City
By Michael Koh
If you stand out in front of 15 East 47th Street, you’ll be standing in front of one of the more peculiar buildings in New York City. This is actually the first time I’ve seen it, thanks to Scouting New York’s awesome articles about New York.
This six-storey building looks like there’s a veil draped over its façade. Its entire front face is covered with brass rings. Scouting New York reports that there’s over 6,000 individual brass rings that cover the surface! But this raises the all-too-familiar question of, why? For that, you’ll have to check out Scouting New York’s page about this building here.
