This TV Show Predicted ‘Oprah 2020’ All The Way Back In 2006 And People On Twitter Are Freaking Out

By

If you’ve been anywhere near the Internet in the last day in a half, you’ve definitely seen the outpouring of support for Oprah after her tear-inducing speech at the Golden Globes as she accepted the Cecil B. deMille award. The speech earned her a standing ovation and, for some, the possibility for a presidential bid in 2020.

That’s right — the world wants to see a Trump vs. Oprah showdown in the next election cycle.

Though, unsurprisingly, Trump isn’t having any of it.

But apparently this whole “Oprah for President” thing was written in the stars, because it was prophesied over a decade ago — by a TV show. That’s right, The Boondocks actually had an episode where Oprah was elected for president on November 8, 2020.

Okay, that’s pretty freaky.

It’s especially uncanny considering another popular cartoon show, The Simpsons, is also well known for making predictions that come true, such as Trump’s presidency.
