This Woman Found A Message In A Bottle While Vacationing In Greece And It’s Straight Out Of A Romance Novel

We’ve all grown up hearing about messages in bottles, but few of us have ever seen a real one before. They’re mythical objects from romance novels, not something you find on the beach when you’re on your spring break trip to Miami with your entire sorority.

But BBC Radio 4 presenter Corrie Corfield was vacationing in Greece when she found a tiny glass bottle with a note inside. It sounds ridiculous, but when you look at the setting, it only makes sense that she’d find something so romantic there.

Tbh it looks so magical that I’m pretty sure mermaids probably exist there, too.

Anyway, Corfield was walking along the beach when she found the bottle, which had a phone number attached. She decided to investigate.
