We Exist Because Of Love

What’s the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear the words dust and dirt? I believe many people would think of filth, bacteria, objects that would be deemed as no good, trash even. Now, what would you say if I told you that this is what the human race is made up of? I’m sure you would argue the fact that we are made up of so much water and other necessities that we need to keep our bodies running. But what would you say if I told you that these vessels that are made out of a coagulation of dirt and dust were also created out of love?

I’ve probably lost you by now, haven’t I? That’s okay. Just stay with me. The love that I’m talking about isn’t the type of love that is needed when a male and female come together and share their souls and pieces of each other to create a life (that does help in this situation though). But I’m talking about is a different type of love. Many people would want to argue this fact or believe it to be insane but what I’m telling you is true. The human flesh is up of dirt and dust but we are deemed to be more valuable than gold. Imagine that for just a minute. More valuable than gold. Gold is pretty pricey material but it is said, in the Bible, that we are more valuable than that. I’m pretty sure that at this point you are thinking that this is nothing but a farce. However, I hate to burst your bubble, it is not. Do you know that there will never be another you in all of existence? That’s right. You are an individual, the one and only. You are precious material. And you must treat yourself with the utmost love that you can muster. Now, I am not telling you to be selfish and think that you are the only important thing in our universe. That is a huge stretch but you are important. We are like the old adage, “No two snowflakes are alike.”No two human beings are the same.

Now, I suppose you’re asking, how do we exist because of love? Well, I’ll tell you. It is because God took so much precious time to create you as an individual. You are unique and there will only ever be just one you throughout all of recorded history. Your talent is something no one can replicate. You are special. And it is time that you treat yourself with the love that you so rightly deserve. You are not trash. So always remember your value. Always remember that you are loved.
