Baby cried the day the circus came to town…. This song is ridiculous but the chorus is amazing and you can’t not sing along with it. DON’T CRY OUT LOUDDDDDDD.

This is my friend Kim’s favorite song and I suspect she thinks it was written about her, just you know a few decades too early? Or okay, maybe all of us wish this song was about us.
5. Believe – Cher

Someone mentioned this song in the comments of the last post and I was like THAT IS BRILLIANT. I’d forgotten about this song, but oh no. No one forgets about Cher. This is one of the most memorable choruses ever.
6. Take Me Home Tonight – Eddie Money

Anything that references the Ronettes has my attention (check out “Be My Baby,” Phil Spector did some awesome shit before he was a murderer). But this chorus is fantastic. If you are drunk and in need of something to sing before you have a one night stand, I recommend Eddie Money.

This might actually be one of my favorite songs. My boyfriend and I just sang this together at karaoke and it was amazing. If this comes on the radio, everyone better shut up and start singing.
