This article contains some ‘Pretty Little Liar’ spoilers
Pretty Little Liars fans, rejoice — not only are you getting a spin-off, but the first trailer is officially here. And Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists looks just as dramatic and addicting as the original series, too. Just take a look:
From Rosewood to Beacon Heights, life is anything but perfect. Here’s your first look at our spinoff series, #PrettyLittleLiars: The Perfectionists, coming to @FreeformTV in 2019. More info: https://t.co/qy5CDeDPfa. #PLLThePerfectionists pic.twitter.com/7QQ9zZaMH3

Though we won’t be getting any more of the famous foursome (Ari, Hanna, Aria, Spencer, and Emily) in this series, we’ll still follow a few familiar characters: Alison DiLaurentis (Sasha Pieterse) and Mona Vanderwaal (Janel Parrish) both show their faces in the 34-second trailer, along with some new characters I’m sure we’ll get to know real well soon.
So, what’s the premise of this new series? Well, what we know so far is that it’s set at a prep school in Rosewood called Beacon Heights University, and that someone is inevitably going to die at some point. Alison will be working at the school, and apparently we’re just supposed to forget that she’s technically married to Emily and has twins…? Or something. I don’t know.
Anyway, you’ll have to wait till 2019 before you can get swept up in the drama. But trust me, I have a feeling it’ll be worth the wait.
