You can be a wildflower in a patch of weeds. You can be someone’s sun and their moon. You can be the muse for songs or you can write them yourself.
Let this wreck you. Let it hurt. But don’t you dare let this fully break you.
If you get to a point where you see that your reality was skewed and your perception was off, don’t freak out. Breathe.
Remind yourself of who you were before this, and tell yourself about the person you are hopeful to become.
Lay out your 2017 self, dig through your personal dirt, and smile back on the moments of great light and breathe it all out.

Someone chose to take something from you, yes, but you are still here. They didn’t take all of you. Someone else was weak; they couldn’t wait for something or couldn’t handle the rejection of not getting it so they took it. But you are not weak.
