There’s an idea that vertigo is less a fear of heights and more a fear that you might jump. A similar sensation can be found in certain social situations.

By now we should all be decently aware that being black in America has its fair share of societal difficulties. What’s sometimes left out are the little things that we experience — especially if we just so happen to be the only one around.

What type of music you listen to says at least a little bit about your personality. So, it’s pretty safe to assume that people who like a particular artist have something in common. But what are those commonalities? After painstaking research and speaking with dozens of leading psychologists (i.e. my 24-year-old upstairs neighbor who works at Barnes & Noble), I’ve compiled an authoritative list. It was all very scientific.

Black wealth needs to be consolidated and multiplied for the benefit of the black community. Instead of continuously pumping black income into white pockets, there needs to be a conscious effort by the black community to invest in their black neighbors and themselves.

It’s hard to go 48 hours without hearing some inane piece of news about Kim or one of the other Kardashians, or, like now, read some type of article about them.

Pay bills ahead of time.
