Seems like there was ‘no point’ to this console, I only bought it for Resident Evil 4. Seems like I played Paper Mario for a minute and maybe a wave racing game. It looked pretty, though, much more ‘user-friendly’ than the N64. Possibly Nintendo’s GameCube laid the ‘groundwork’ for the launch of the Wii, via establishing an ‘aesthetic’ + electing a market strategy to launch lower-tech products at accessible price points rather than participate in the technology ‘arms race’ that began when Microsoft launched the Xbox against the PlayStation 2.
