5 Ungodly Things People Don’t Tell You About Breaking Up
It’s like you’re in pre-school. Again.
It’s like you’re in pre-school. Again.
People like us escape cities and bright lights just to catch the sunrise,
We are up for that quiet, long drive that you might want to have after a bad day
I’m enthralled with the way it softens a person but also, has the power to harden a person,
The way it brings down walls and melts stone cold hearts
The voices in my head were gone.
They were replaced by your voice.
Your constant words of comfort,
Your voice that sung me to sleep.
I want a love like Monday. Because despite the extra hectic traffic and grumpy faces, Monday goes on.
They don’t know how good it feels to still be able to have that smile on your face,
After endless criticisms from everyone else and yourself.
The ways that I’ll love you,
will not be of me telling you that it’s going to be easy,
because it won’t be.
Do things that scare you. Go after the things you truly want. Mess up a few times. Learn from the things you’ve done wrong. Chase that dream that you’ve always had. Don’t be afraid to be wrong.
When you close your eyes, is it me your mind drifts to?
I’m learning that you let the breath escape your lips when you have someone else’s to let it flow into.
