The Parents Of Facebook Are At War Because This Child Tore Up His Allowance

Is it a matter of entitlement or is it a matter of keeping your word? It’s a difficult question and one that over 12,000 people have already weighed in on. Let me set the stage for you. A mother promised her son a certain amount of allowance but when it came time to pay up she gave less than she said she would.

On the one hand, it’s now his money to do with as he pleases but this also seems disrespectful. At the same time it seems like a bad example on the mother’s part to not hold her end of the deal up.
