It was a joke in 1998, but now, in 2014, it seems like it’s happening right before our eyes. Just today, pro-Russian protesters stormed police headquarters and released 67 people that were detained. Ukraine’s interim Prime Minister accused Russia of plotting war to bring Ukraine back under Russian control. Last Friday, 42 people were declared dead, as a fire rampaged through a building during a demonstration. All of this just might snowball into something bigger, say, the return of the Soviet Union, and the Red Army.
